Ultracold Fermi gases near a Feshbach resonance allow to realize the BCS-BEC crossover from weakly bound Cooper pairs to a condensate of strongly bound bosonic molecules. The thermodynamics of this Fermi to Bose crossover is discussed together with the exact solution of the problem in one dimension.
