Head of a Junior Research Group in Condensed Matter Theory


The candidates should have a strong postdoctoral research record in condensed matter theory. They are expected to be able to build up a research program as the head of an independent research group (e.g., a postdoc and a PhD student or two PhD students). Possible fields of research include strongly correlated quantum systems, topological matter, spintronics, ultracold atoms, or quantum optics.

Remuneration is competitive (TV-L E15) and further funds for the group are available. The funding is part of the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz prize of Prof. Rosch.
