Abstract
Title: "Gravitational Waves and Electrodynamic Phenomena induced by
Curvature"
Abstract:
Non-minimal coupling of gravitational and electromagnetic fields
is considered on the examples of exactly solvable models of
evolution of relativistic electrodynamic systems in a pp-wave
gravitational background.
Birefringence, the Cherenkov effect and optical activity induced
by curvature, singular behaviour and anomalies in electric and
magnetic fields, spontaneous polarization-magnetization of
pyro-piezo-active media, non-linearity induced by curvature, and
parametric phenomena are discussed.
