My main field of research is mesoscopic physics (-> review)

Subfields I have been (or am trying to be) active in include transport in dirty superconductors, chaos and spectral correlations in mesoscopic systems, interaction phenomena in dirty materials, and connections between mesoscopic physics and other disciplines, notably high energy physics (-> publications).

Although any reasonable physicist should rank phenomena higher than methods, I feel addicted to the application of quantum field theory to condensed matter problems.
