The course gives an introduction to modern immunology for physicists, with an emphasis on statistical and evolutionary questions. It is arranged as a weekly discussion group on selected topics in quantitative immunology.
Specific topics:
1. Physical chemistry of ligand-receptor interactions
2. Antigen recognition
3. Co-evolution of pathogens the immune system
4. Immune repertoires
