Institute for Theoretical Physics

We do theoretical physics from cosmology and quantum gravity to biophysics and evolution; from mathematical physics to quantum effects in novel materials. Close collaboration with experimental physicists, mathematicians and biologists is an important aspect of our work. This has given rise to several interdisciplinary projects and funding initiatives.
