We are always looking for talented BSc / MSc students as well as PhD and postdoc applicants.

If you are interested in working with us, please send an email. State briefly why you are interested and attach your CV as well as your grades as an undergraduate and (if applicable) graduate student.

You will have the chance to work on fundamental problems of condensed matter physics and develop analytical as well as numerical skills. We have weekly meetings and provide workspace and computers. Every group member takes a leading role in cutting-edge research, is encouraged to participate in conferences, and can collaborate with world-leading experts. Our current collaborations include groups in the US, the UK, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and South Korea.

We especially welcome PhD students and postdocs with fellowships and offer support in submitting an application. Possible PhD scholarships include Studienstiftung and DAAD. Possible postdoc fellowships include DFG, Humboldt foundation, and MSCA.
